![]() ![]() This Sunday 29th May We have our combined service with St Matthew’s Parish at 9am @ St Matthew’s Church. No services at Epiphany this Sunday. ![]() SUNDAY’S READINGS 1st Reading: Acts 16:16-34 2nd Reading: Rev 22:12-14, 16-17, 20-21 Psalm: Ps 97 Gospel: John 17:20-26 PRAYER POINTS · Give thanks for joy and celebration as we gather in God’s name. · We pray for the vocational ordinands (Annie and Christine) in the lead up to their ordination this Sunday. · We pray for our 5 people, that they may come to know Christ’s love for them. · We continue to pray for all those in our local community and around the world who have covid or are isolating. We pray they do not suffer and recover quickly. · We pray that you will guide us God as we work to co-create your beloved community on earth as it is in heaven. · We pray for the damage to property and loss of life as Uruguay has been hit by the strong winds and high waves of a subtropical cyclone. · We pray for Mozambique with their concerns of wild polio spreading through their children. From our People’s Warden Greetings to all, We have formed an Epiphany Fundraising Group to help with the rising unmet costs we are facing in our parish. The goal of the group is to assist our parish and to provide fellowship and fun! Coming soon will be some goal setting, a movie night fundraiser and opportunities to contribute to some raffles. No doubt if we all pitch in, the load will be lighter. Pray for your 5 daily that they may come to know Jesus Christ.There are TKC Prayer journals and the 2022 Novena at the back of the church for those who would like them. Bring a dish to share, bring the family and join us for some fun and fellowship. On Sunday 5th June we have our monthly parish Breakfast between the 8am service and the 9.30am service in the hall. 8.45am. This years Lambert Conference is happening in late July, early August.
